Nicole Strangman

Nicole Strangman (née Misener) is a Relationship Coordinator at Benevity, and a Member of the Métis Nation of Alberta. She was the first in her extended family to obtain a University degree and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Royal University in 2016. As a two-spirited indigenous youth she works to be an active voice against racism and gender discrimination to change the rhetoric surrounding urban first nations populations. Her #reconciliation path focuses on educating non-indigenous Canadians on our common history and promoting higher education standards and opportunities for indigenous youth.
